Currently visiting my Airman in Alaska for both of our birthdays (since we’re 2 weeks apart) and it has been by far one of the best adventures we’ve ever been on. Driving and getting lost in Anchorage, going to the Zoo, exploring the wilderness with his wingmen, and most of all, getting to spend some much needed time together in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I absolutely hate that we have to say goodbye again tomorrow night. Hopefully, he’ll be home for Christmas! If there’s one thing good that can come out of goodbyes, it’s knowing that I always have something to look forward to.
"Distance is not for the fearful, it is for the bold. It’s for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It’s for those knowing a good thing when they see it, even if they don’t see it nearly enough."
